The Piano Player

A street musician in Washington Square Park in New York City plays his piano. I found it amazing because the street musicians that I see usually play an instrument that is also simple to carry – a guitar or brass instrument. How easy could it possibly be to roll a baby grand piano down the street?

I have more musician photographs on my Lifestyle Website – Musician Photography.

  2. I was just reminded about seeing a Frenchman in Cahors wheel his piano down a small street and set up playing but that was an upright, not a grand!

    • I do want to add that I did talk to the piano player asking him how he managed such a large instrument. He said that it wasn’t that difficult rolling it down the street and storage for the piano was street level. I would hope so.
