A cocky game ranger once told me a male is black with white stripes and a female is white with black stripes 🙂 we believed it too!
I like the folktale of how the zebra got its stripes, its one of the African folktales I’ve blogged so far 🙂
This is a species I never came across in Africa (as far as I know). Beautiful patterning – great pic
