    • I like the feel of the cool weather that rain will bring, plus the sound of it at night when I go to bed (I leave my window open a little). I find it very relaxing.

      • Exactly my sentiments. I would be uploading a series of rain pictures in few days. Happy rainy weekend 🙂

  3. Thanks. At the time it was raining hard. And, on the subject of road trips, in August (family vacation time) this one is a real road trip. Flying into Vegas (not a gambler, but love the lights) travel to Flagstaff, then onto to Socorro, then to Carlsbad Caverns, back to Chinele then returning to Vegas. Along that path is Rte 66, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest, VLA (Radio Telescopes), Roswell (aliens, of course), Monument Valley, Horseshoe Bend (Grand Canyon), a zip line adventure outside of Vegas and some other stuff. Gonna be fun.
