This photo is so incredible! Look how flat the rim is – doesn’t that confirm that a lot of water over a short amount of time created this canyon? This is one of the most beautiful photos of this miraculous area of the country I have ever seen! My husband and I are moving from our beloved Arizona to Ohio for a pastor position. If you don’t mind, I am taking this view with me. Thank you for this memory, Blessings,

I’m very pleased that you like it. As for moving to Ohio, I understand the reason, however I am Easterner by birth and this is my home, but I also love Arizona, NM, Utah. I find it absolutely wonderful to visit. On my trip in August of this year, we drove 2000 “relaxing” miles – from Vegas to destinations in Arizona, NM and back to Vegas. Driving 2000 miles here IS NOT relaxing.
Being in the east is not easy. I hope the move goes well and you are surrounded by wonderful people. Also, my brother lived in Akron for several years before moving to Texas. He found the winters “difficult”. So I hope you like snow and don’t mind the cold.

Yeah, around Akron is where we are moving to. (Wish your brother was still there.) Although I am not relishing the winters, I’m grateful I didn’t give away my winter coat!!! Ft. Lauderdale or Charleston, SC is where my retirement plans lie in due time – the warmth of the sun is calling my name . . . eventually. Thanks for the encouragement my friend,
