Capitol Reef National Park is probably not the first place that comes to mind when thinking of America’s National Parks. For me, the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone or Yosemite are what immediately comes to mind but Capitol Reef is worth visiting. Also what sets the park aside from the other places is that a highway cuts through some of it. With Yosemite, Arches, Canyonlands, etc. you drive through an entrance gate to access the parks. There is an entrance to a section of Capitol Reef, but a portion of it lies along rte 24, making it easy to access without any fees.

Travel photography in America’s National Parks is probably my favorite activity.
