Portrait of a Cook
This is a portrait that I made many years ago of a friend. A Chinese immigrant who worked as a cook in a hospital. We became very good friends, frequently traveling to New York’s Chinatown to eat. Eventually we went our separate ways, but I always loved this photograph.
