The American Soldier…

soldier, american, military, memorial day

…without them we wouldn’t have the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, our ability to make a choice about our future, the right to vote, to start a business, to live where we want, to waste our time in front of a television, to read anything, to laugh with our families, to run for office, to protest (peacefully), to publicly tell an elected official that they’re good or bad, to pursue a career, to volunteer or not volunteer for the armed services, to “fill-in-the-blank”…

Without the American Soldier, we wouldn’t have the lives we live today.

Remember The Fallen on Memorial Day.

Memorial Day 2010

I thank all the veterans who have served our country. I recommend making a donation at Remind. From their website – “The Bob Woodruff Foundation is the national nonprofit that helps ensure our nation’s injured service members, veterans and their families return to a homefront ready to support them.”
