The Blizzard of 2016 hits the East Coast.
On a frozen lake, 2 men were ice fishing and one man, on the right, was observing.
My question, how is this fun?
Photograph made with medium format camera and B&W film.
Scanned with Nikon scanner for web use.
The photograph was made with a medium format camera while it was snowing.
The film was developed and printed in my old darkroom.
The negative was scanned for digital presentation.
That was the temperature outside my front door this morning.
I’m moving to the Equator this afternoon.
I’ve always wanted to visit Alaska but haven’t been able to.
This year, Alaska came to me.
It was -4 degrees this morning.
It’s ZERO Degrees outside my front door right now.
With the wind chill factor, I don’t know how low it goes.
My kitchen water pipes are presently frozen.
At 6 AM a neighbor’s car horn went off and didn’t stop
for 30 minutes. I think the owner just didn’t want
to go outside. (It was probably below zero at that time.)
It hasn’t been much fun on the East Coast.
The snow isn’t as bad as the cold.
And there’s more snow and more cold to come.
